Default New to hondata and need help

Just switched to hondata from Crome. It's s300 v1 in a p06 with vtec added. When I have it hooked to the laptop I can get a good basemap but as soon as I unhook it and restart the car the AF is way off. It runs really rich.

also the ecu will periodically lose connection with smanager then reconnects.

any advice would be great

Your gonna be in this for the long haul if you don't get some help... Periodically loosing connection on the laptop is often due to Ignition noise, bad cord or bad comport.

List your setup and maybe someone can help.
What injectors, cams, induction etc

engine is a y8 head with z6 cam slightly advanced to get timing right. z6 bottom end. Innovate lc-2 wired to D10 on ecu. I've tried 3 different cords and every usb port on the computer. When I had the Ostrich/Crome setup in ran fine.

I'm more concerned about the fluctuating AF readings. After warm up it will idle at 14.7 like it should. If I drive it and then let it idle it will be 16.7 at times or 10.5 other times. When driving at anything less than 1/2 throttle the AF is not consistent at all. Above that and it will at least be in the area that it should be but it still fluctuates alot. The data logs don't show the drastic differences in the AF. The voltage offset was corrected. at one point today. the log showed just 14.7 across all the cells which was not even close to right. Is there something I may have set wrong in the parameters? Are there any walk throughs for setting the initial parameters like there are for crome?

you should be posting on the hondata forums instead of here. it could be a problem with the hondata unit itself

I did email them. They are suggesting that the ecu may be bad since its pulling false codes. I ordered vtec conversion components and an s300 chipping kit to convert another p06 I have laying around so hopefully that will help
