You're posting on the wrong forum, this belongs on the NepTune support forum.

Check your 4 pin to make sure it's on the correct way. Make sure J12 has been removed from the ECU. Make sure you have no check engine lights. Make sure you've chosen Start from the datalogging menu once emulator status says Connected.

If you have *no check engine light* and you've done everything else, try revving above 4000 RPM. If you hit a limiter the RTP can't communicate with the ECU. Check the 4 pin cable out again. It's either the CN2 header or the 4 pin cable at that point.

I doubt it's the cable. Your tuner had it working, right?

Was he using an old version or did he use your laptop? If you're connected to the emulator all you have to do is select Start from the datalogging menu. It will change to stop and should be showing you data. It will either show you live values or 0'd out values, but it will show SOME values. If you see no values then it's nothing you're doing, it's not the hardware, and it's not the software either, since you're connected. There's been two cases of that scenario so far and there's absolutely nothing to be changed to correct it.

No, with just the RTP board or if it can't communicate with the ECU it'll show 0'd out values. In a car with key on it will show live data.

In the datalogging, which is what we're discussing here.

Close the edit window with the tables in it and try to download the base code. If it works and it's communicating fine, again, even if the datalogging to the ECU isn't working you should still see 0'd out values in the data window and gauges. If that's not happening, as I mentioned before, your laptop is having a problem getting the data to the software appropriately.
