zdyne help ?

Default zdyne help ?

I am using a 200 mmx and i am getting check sum errors any sugestions whats causing this ?

Check sum errors are usually because the Program cannot "talk" to the ecu. Are you using a PHONE cable or the data cable that came with the Z-Dyne? That was one issue that I've heard about with some users.

Also, this is a dummy error, make sure the key is "on" when you try to upload changes.

If these aren't the problem, please explain when you are getting Check Sum errors. Can you even load the program? I've only got a 250 MMX machine, and I run the program with flying colors.

Like he said. Make sure your key is "on" The ecu needs to be plugged in and w/ the key on.

the key is in the on position and i am using the black cable provided by zdyne. I am using my desk top just so i can load a base tune until I get my lap top. Is there any port settings I should check ?
