Neptune Moates Demon
this may come off stupid, as there is not alot of info. on these new demons right now. but it mentioned a small few ECU's it supports, will this support a wide range of ECU's from non-vtec to Vtec? I tried calling Moates and Xenocron yesturday about this. my ECU is a OBD1 PR4. I actually only care about this and the P72( my next ECU).
can anyone tell me when it's going to be here? HRtuning, your taking preorders but do you have a set date for those who preordered yet? I am anxious to order one but I must consult with Joe(locash) first about my deposit. maybe he can put that towards a RTP for me.

So hardware wise, the Demon is done, right? The onboard logging updates will be realized through software? Do you have a approx ETA on the onboard logging update?
The hardware is done and ready. We have on-board logging working in pre-release format. That should be done and working in the demon by the end of the weekend. The software will need a significant update to the code base (For on-board logging parameters) and the software itself to be able to access, read back, and convert the data. We're looking at a few days for a workable version and a few weeks before I'll release a solid stable build to the public. It's a free update either way.
It is smaller, and fits where the chip goes.
It will have onboard data logging. The demon also primes the fuel pump and CEL like a stock ECU does. And it is hella cool :p I know there is more, that is what is on the top of my head.

The only thing i dont like of the new RTP board is that the USB doesnt stick outside like the old one or an S300/Kpro board.
Youd have you purchase the mount which is another $9

You don't have to purchase the adapter. Leave the cable plugged in and tucked away or simply remove the lid when actually tuning.
I've had people complain about having to cut a hole in the case. I guess there's really no way to compromise so everyone wins.
