So I just got my very first car it's a 96 Honda civic ex coupe and I don't know much about cars pretty close to zero actually and Im having trouble running it. The previous owner had told me she hadn't ran it in months due to an overheating problem and it would release white smoke from the engine but had everything relatively new put in before this happened I.e. new battery, oil change, oil filter and I believe one other filter. I had it jumped by a buddy and it would start to turnover but wouldn't quite we finally gave up because the engine started smoking any help is greatly appreciated thanks.
