Need help with my Sol! :'(
Hey, I'm new here and I hope this is in the right section.
Here goes nothing.
I have a 93 del sol Si (208k miles)
D16z6 motor no mods besides a CAI
Here's what I need help with. The other day I was driving and it was missing out. Not bad until one time my gas pedal had no resistance to it and pushed it to the floor and it came back to life. It was a nice day outside 70ish degrees no rain just dry. I recently found oil in my dizzy and thought it was just that. But the weird part of this problem is that I can drive it and everything, but as soon as the engine gets warm and stays warm for a while the gas pedal will have no resistance and then the car will shut off. Kind of like the injectors arent shooting fuel. But then when I tried restarting it ran for a minute and drove it 20 yards and the pedal did it again. But this time the engine wouldn't kick over. It sounded once I'm here ke it was about to start but seemed liked it just didn't get enough fuel. So I just walked a couple miles back home and let it set. Well I came back that night, letting set for a good 5+ hours and then it started right up. But as soon as the engine got warm it shut off, luckily it was able to turn back on. It did this 3 more times until I got it home. The next day it started right up, and I just let it idle. Nothing sounded different, was going to drive it around but I didn't want it to break down. Now I'm here, I heard it may be the ICM or something like that, but too broke to just keep throwing money into parts and hoping it works.
Thanks for reading, I know it's lengthy but wanted to get the whole story so less questions and no gray areas.
