I'm having a problem with my Del Sol bogging but it doesn't do it all the time. For example, when I leave my girls house and I just took off from her house and I shift to 2nd gear and I'm pressing normal on the gas, it just bogs and it feels like if you would be letting go of the gas and pressing on the gas, letting go of the gas and pressing of the gas again. And if its bogging and I keep my foot on the gas normal, all of a sudden after a little bog, it picks up normal and doesn't do it again after a couple of days later. I have a feeling it could be the TPS but that would throw a CEL but there is no CEL. Any help would be appreciated. And my engine is a D16Z6.

When was your last tune up i.e. Plugs,wires,cap n rotor? Does cel come on at start up then goes away two sec later?

Sounds like you may need a tune up, maybe replacing the fuel filter wouldn't be a terrible idea.

I havent done a tune up on it. I just recently changed the fuel filter. The CEL comes on and turns off after I start the car. I think a tune up wouldnt hurt to do.
