Default Need help with Injectors

Ok so I am building my first car this winter and learning quick. So i bought this car in August with an LS Vtec setup. B18A1 block and B16 head. It is stamped Pr3-1. The chassis is a 95 CX Hatchback. I believe it is OBD1 since I had to watch the amount of flashes to diagnose the check engine light and also because of the distributor plugs. The car already has RC Eng 750cc injectors on it. I want to upgrade to the ID 1000cc injectors.
My question is do i just go and buy the injectors and plug them in? Or do i need to buy some sort of clips or plug n play adapters for them?

Hey, hope I can help with some info here.
It sounds like you have a low impedance injector in their currently and are looking to switch to high impedance to take advantage of the newer technology in these injectors. Thats a good idea when you're upgrading, and its not difficult to do. You will need to remove the factory injector resistor box in your vehicle in order to run high impedance injectors. Once the resistor box is removed you need to bypass it by doing some simple wiring, which I'm sure you can find documented here on H-T.
The only other thing in question is if the injectors you will be using have the same plug on them as what is on your harness. If the plug is different you will either need to wire in pigtails, or you can choose plug and play adapters to take care of things.

We offer a great 900cc injector that includes our Data Match Technology and actually flows the same as what many other companies call a "1000". This injector would require pigtails or plug and play adapters.

We also offer a very popular 1100cc injector that is 20% larger than the injector above, also includes our Data Match Technology and it has the same plug as what you are using currently so no pigtails or plug and play adapters are required here.

We can set either of these up to fit a B-Series so if you're interested in either or have any other injector questions in general just let me know. Hope that helps!
