alright well my little brother is an idiot first of all... he has been running the car with temp gauge on H for idk how long. i drove it and happened to me i pulled over let it cool poured water in it. i think it was running back to its normal self for about five days. he "says" that the gauge wasnt on H no more not sure if he lieing but w.e.... now today his engine got smoke coming out the motor. is it blown already or is there still a possible chance it can just be the head gasket or any other relatively small issue?

o ok perfect so you think it still has a chance to live? and do you think now that its cooled off a few hours i can drive it to my house which is 40streets from his school or should i take the safe way and tow that idiot cuz he is in school at the moment?
PS i agree i should remove his licence my self for stupidity issues

put water in it and try to drive it to a suitable place you can work on it. also keep the heater on as you drive. if it goes 3/4 of the way **** it down and let it cool just keep an eye on the gauge.
alright cool thanx got it home safely notice the **** had no! water cuz a hose broke but also had No! oil neither.... im guessing its still the head gasket right??? couldnt hve been just the hose that was ****ed up could it?
Probably at least a head gasket. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the head is warped at this point. The good news is that you can get the head milled for $70-$100 at a machine shop.
Pull the head and, before you install a new gasket, have a machine shop check to see if it is still true.
Best of luck with your project.

No oil & no coolant in an engine that is running hot. You should have the head checked to make sure it's not warped. Not to mention you may, or may not, want to take a look at a bearing or two to see if there is any indication of galling/overheating.
Dont forget the block. Check the top of the block for warpage. Blocks can get warped just like heads and they can be fixed the same way, only downside is the engine has to be taken completely apart and removed from the car then machined and put back together. How much is "no oil?" Some say that when there is literally no oil and then some say that when there is oil on the end of the stick but way out of usual range on the dipstick.
Now take the dipstick, while you have it out of the engine, and go smack your brother with it like they do in the Castrol commercials for being a moron!

The block doesn't necessarily have to come out right away. What it needs to have is the head removed and a clean deck surface. Then it can be measured with a precision straight edge while it's still in the car. If it is found to be out of tolerance. That is when the block has to come out to be re-finished.
ok check it i had a mechanic buddy of mine take the head out for me and we looked under the head and 4 valves are sticking out and he put the "UP" on the cam pointing up he said they should be flat well i took it to a machine shop they cleaned it up n w.e but he said that the valves are good and thats how its suppose to be who is correct tho? should i just go ahead and put the head back on the car or should the valves line up flat?!?!?!
Awsome thanks bro wasnt sure who to believe the mechanic or machine shop guess i should have gone with machine shop but they both have pretty good experience but thanx ima just tell the mechanic to put it on and thats it then
