Missfire issues, stumped...
I don't usually post my problems here but i'm having an issue that has me pulling my hair out...
Here is my setup
84mm CP 9:1 Pistons
GRP Aluminum Rods
GT35R
AEM 30-1040
AEM Pencil Coils
AEM Twin Fire
AEM EPM
FIC 2180cc's
Skunk2 Pro 1's
NGK BKR7E gapped to .020
About a week ago we had my car on the dyno and had some missfire issues at high RPM's with high load, the problem got worse over time where even when you free reved the engine it would studder. After looking at the logs we determined it was the RPM dropping out, we ran a dedicated sheilded 4 wire twisted set on the outside of the car directly throught the ecu instead of through the wire harness and the problem went away.
We got the car back on the dyno and pulled clean an made 520 hp at 19 PSI. Take the car back off the dyno run the new sheilded set under the fender away from any kinda noise, set up the antilag, take it for a quick spin and now it missfires again.
Reloaded tune from night before, missfires.
Changed out the coils with another set we had, missfires.
Tried a different Twinfire, missfires.
Ran the sheiled wire outside of the car again, missfires.
Check all the antilag settings, definetly turned off.
I will try and get a copy of my logs up tomorrow but if anyone has anything that they think I should check that would be great.
Thanks
