Issue getting car to fire with new neptune rpt system
i bought a brand new neptune rpt package from HA Motorspors ( love it) the ecu is communicating with my laptop and everything seems to be fine. but it wont start.
the p28 with the crome basemap tune by phearable ive been using runs the car fine so i know its not vehicle/ engine/ wiring related. im doing something wrong and i cant pin point it.
below is me setup and the steps im taking
Neptune rpt
ne Ha Motorsports p28 ecu
demon 2 with bluetooth and boost control (solenoid not hooked up yet)
1999 civic HB dx
b20v 11.8:1 CR ITR rep piston set up
aem eugo WB to ecu pin D14
gsr & head cams
blox IM
gsr trans
obd2b sensor set up on engine
545cc denso 1955002020 13.7ohm 52lb/hr
50ar turbo
.
I have watched all of the tutorials ha motorsports offer. i have seen all the videos JatHRtuning has. and have looked at some hondata videos but cant find a "fix" i know im doing something wrong.
i wanted to know what i am missing, these are the steps I have taken when setting up a new base map on neptune rpt different times
1.upload a new basemap from the creator or loaded a user created bseries FI map
2.chosen p28 ecu (what i own), no sensors or usdm p30 or usdm p72 ecu. none have yielded results
3. chosen the p30 or p72 maps. no results
but it has loaded every time then I
4.change the injectors to 545cc plus 10 trim but i do not know which preset setting to choose from the drop down box [i have used the rc 550 13 option].
oem map
1.25deg of ret per #
10#s max boost
hit next
then...
5.disable the sensors i dont have. tried eld on and off
6. auto data log is on live tuning is on
7. put the key in the on pos loaded the map by pressing the green arrow turned the key and nothing.
i can see volts tps on gauges window changing so there is communication and green light on demon blinking fine
do i have to have the key on the on pos to load calibration/ map?
do i have to reset the demon to change file?
thanks for taking the time to review my issue

That's good news. I was going to suggest cranking fuel or wiring if you didn't see RPM during cranking.

Re: Issue getting car to fire with new neptune rpt system
it got pretty cold here in NC these past couple days.
I have not been able to get the car started from dead cold with the base maps ive tried. (the old ecu still fires and runs the car and all i sent vega was my engine set up and injector size...lol)
I have adjusted
raw cranking fuel
crank trims
injector battery offsets
no change.
when i did get the car started it was at operating temp already and i was able to turn it off and on with no issues.
i even tuned idle and got partial throttle pretty good. next day went to start it i the am 50deg out and nothing.
if anyone is interested in helping me figure this out i can send them the file via email......
