Default I Have a B20 Vtec/B16 With a Sensor Problem? VTEC DOES NOT WORK?

its a b20/b16vtec, stock internals, si tranny, with a type r intake manifold, and a 95 ex wiring harness, hondata s300. the intake temperature sensor is not connected(pluged into the intake), because the sensor does not mach the intake hole, will this disable the vtec from working? right now the vtec does not work but i can go high rpm 8000 with no problem but i dont feel the vtec kick,is it normal or i dont feel it kick because it got stock internals?

Do mechanics in your area a favor and try riding a pedal bike as it may suit you better

No the vtec will not work if the ect sensor is not hooked up, make sure you dont have any sensors mixed up.

besides the fact that it is an important sensor in determining the amount of fuel needed so running without it is just stupid to begin with
