You need a chip burner to read a chip.

I'm still trying to figure out WTF you're saying in your first post...

Did you originally have this chipped ECU, then swap engines and do nothing to the ECU?

correct,
I got the engine & ecu/'chipped out of a car & swapped it into mine.
it ran just fine on the other car.. I done the iacv swap on the ecu just now & it made it run better. no cel.. but it drives a bit & dies when I rev it up..
rough low idle still... changed the iat sensor to the round plug & changed the iacv sensor to the round 2 plug & extended the map sensor wires..
no tach.. but I'/m guessiung around 2500 to 3500rpm

Well then the tune is completely wrong for your engine, so it's no surprise that the car is running like crap. You need to get a real tune or at the very least, a decent basemap.

no, see the tune that is on the chip was made for the setup, it was running just fine on the engine, turbo & chip on the other car.. I completely swapped everything over to my shell, nothing changed but a bit of wiring in the harness.. cause it was obd2a & mines obd2b

This is why it's important to make coherent posts...

The first thing to check is your wiring. If that's the only thing that changed after the engine was last running fine, it's most likely the culprit. Do a continuity check on everything you touched.

You'll make things a lot easier on yourself if you pull the MIL code so you can narrow things down.

thanks!
I searched & found I needed to change the tps sensor plug & the map sensor plug around & it started right up again & sounded even better!
but it sounded like a 3 stage camshaft...lol.. no telling if it has one in it. but it didnt really sound like that on the other car.. (same exhaust & everything)
I had sparks shooting out the top of the drivers engine bay.. seems to be the motor mount really bad & cut up..
I also need to install the torque mount/bracket also to prevent it from raising up..
this is a really fast engine/turbo setup, seems to jerk as soon as I let off the clutch & the intercooler pipe arent even connected.
I need to take pics to better describe whats going on.. possibly need to post in another section since I realize this is more of a swap..d16y7 to b18b1 swap
i'm from d-series.org ... have just been started roaming honda-tech for some time now, like I should have been long ago.. since I've started into a dohc swap .. but this ones a bit confusing. but the thing sounds like a beast
