Install the smanager software, then click on the help tab & start reading :-)

there is a serial number that needs to be entered into s300 for it to work, yes?

thats how neptune RTP is and i would imagine they are much a like in that essence.

Incorrect. You don't need a serial number.

It sounds like your laptop may have issues...
The help files are all there on even the later versions of the smanager.

When it is running, look at the sensor readings and see if any of them are not reading correct.

What is it doing at idle?? Play with IAC duty cycle, and the other idle settings.

Even with stock injectors on a gsr map, it should start up normal and idle. But in my case that doesn't happen.
Is this with high impedance 240cc gsr injectors installed ?
Do you have a resistor box installed also? You shouldn't run a resistor box on high impedance injectors.

Double check your timing belt to make sure everything is at tdc.

Complete a compression & leak down test. Something sounds off.

My suggestion would be to tow the car to a local tuner & have him examine the issue.
It sounds like it could be mechanical or electrical at this point.
