hondata help please read ??
Ok here it is i have a hondata in a converted P06 with Boost control. i have a problem with the outside temp not letting the ecu trigger the main relay.
IF its cold (40's) out the turn the key and MIL comes on go's off and car starts like normal. If i go out after work (70's maybe hotter in the car)) and try to start it , MIL stays on for 20-60 seconds and then go's off car can start. If it's in the high 70's or 80's the MIL will just stay on and i can not start the car because the ecu didn't out put the voltage to trigger the main relay. I sent it out to get rebuild and still the same thing. Is there any one that may have had a similar problem and came across a fix or now what fet in the ecu that maybe damage i looked at the board and it looks good no bad spots or corrosion or cracks at the solder joints.
i also verified the problem by when it didn't start i took it out and put it in the fridge for a a few minutes and put it back in and started right up.
thanks for any help

You know its not the main relay itself?
If your sure its a issue within the ecu look into replacing the capacitor located at C14 inside the ecu. This is a common problem in obd1 honda ecu's. Every time i chip a ecu i replace this.

yea i had put in a new relay when it first happened. and i had all the caps changed when they rebuilt it. i was think more along the line of a bad fet
