i think im going to get a hondata s100 for my ls/vtec.

when i order the s100 i get it.
i can i just install it or do i get it tuned first.

dumb question i know but someone help me lol

since you don't use cable and all that stuff..i was wondering how you tune something that inside a ecu..or do you remove the chip then program the all the stuff.

The s100 unit is not a system you would really want to tune your self, you would want to go to an authorized dealer to have the car tuned using the s100 module.

You should look into an s300 system which will allow anybody with a laptop to connect to their ecu.

Hondata S300 would be the way to go.

You should order the S300, take it with you to your tuner, and have him install and tune it. That way you're not driving around with an unknown basemap from home to your tuner's shop
