Default What could be the problem?

My car was running fine couple days ago and today i replaced the ect sensor the car has a vss sensor problem so whats happening is i cant pass 4k rpm im using a p28 on h22 motor with ectune on 92 prelude t3/t4 turbo and the launch control was set to 4k or so but if i step on the clutch while the car is moving the rpm can reach to redline and if i boost it on 4th gear the pressure can reach to 10psi which is good but when you reach almost 4k it will bug sounds like the launch control, could this be my vss sensor or boost leak? Any suggestion would be nice..

ok i replaced the vss sensor today and my speedometer works fine but still is doing the same thing so i guess its not the launch control, could it be vtec solinoid, oil pressure switch or ignition cut?

Did you have a tuner tune the car ?
Contact him so he can datalog the issue to determine the problem.
It sounds like you maybe hitting boost cut or your vehicle's wiring is falsely reporting speed to the ecu etc.

no not yet because the tuner wants me to break in the motor for a bit before we put the car on the dyno and he knows i only have a basemap on it but he told me to check the plugs make sure its not black, I called the tuner today and he wants me to check the spark plug gaps he said it might be a ignition cut, The thing is he wants that problem to be fix first before we can tune it..

You don't need to break in your motor for more then a couple of heat cycles...
Take it in and have it tuned.

oh yeah i notice this phearable.net i got the ecu and basemap from you guys..remember i have to go to a different island just to get it tuned? yeah i guess i have to stop driving it now i already put in about 200miles on it, it should be enough, i told the tuner what you told me that i have to get it tuned asap, but thats what he wants me to do is break it in a lil bit just make sure the plugs is not black..i guess ill take it in to a shop that use to have a dyno here to fix that problem if i cant fix it myself...coz the tuner just want to tune it not to fix anything else, so i have to make sure that everything is working fine, coz i m only staying on that island for one day just for tune it and have to go back home right away..

1. Resolve all malfunction indication codes if there are any.
2. Make sure the vehicle is mechanically sound.
3. Take the vehicle to an experienced tuner.

1. Resolve all malfunction indication codes if there are any = 21 which is due to the vtec not connected
