HELP! H23A problem driving me nuts!
OK folks so I have a problem at hand that is literally driving me nuts. I have a 93 eg sedan that has the JDM H23A out of the Accord Wagon SiR, running p28 ecu tuned on SST chip. Does have VTEC. Its NA ported intake removed butterflies 70mm skunk2 TB short ram intake 4-1 long tune headers. Map was done after all this was done so it’s current for the set up,
Now my issue, so from my understanding the tune that it has “disabled” the 02 sensor or made it “open loop.” The reason I mention that is bc the issue seems like an 02 sensor problem. So under normal load just like normal accelerating and cruising I have 0 issues no CEL nothing. But say I’m doing like a 40 roll starting in 3rd gear, I can punch it and everything is great as it’s climbing 5500 vtec hits engages fine and then right around about 6500-7k literally right at almost the shift point something happens where to me it seems like it either loses spark or fuel basically it doesn’t shut off but it’s like a sudden just bog out majorly and then 90% of the time will tend to kick right back in and keep going within a second or less after it happens. Also I can drive it sometimes and push it like hell and it won’t happen. So frustrating and confusing.
I was thinking either trying intstalling 02 sensor , or someone also said to me since 02 is open loop that I need to either jump the 02 plug with a piece of wire from pin to pin or cut plug off and expose some wire on each wire and twist them together. Right now it’s just the plug in hanging. My apologies for the length but I HAVE to get this figured out, If anyone has any suggestions/ideas I’m open and I appreciate them ahead of time!
P.S. during this I never get any CEL at all. And the 10%of the time that it doesn’t pick right back up I have to throw it in neutral and just cut the key all the way off I’ll leave it off for about 5 seconds then fire it back up and it’s back to running normal?!?!?

You NEED A WIDEBAND to properly tune a car. Wire one into your P28 using D14, and make sure to use a proper ECU logic ground as well.
