FMU JRSC problem?
Alright so heres the story.
My buddy just bought a 1990 civic hatch with a d15b2.
It came with the JRSC and the boost/retard controller.
Its not tuned and its running off the jackson racing fuel managment unit.
The car bogs down like its about to die at random intervals while driving, you can deffinitly smell gas more than you should in the exhaust fumes.
Is this because its running only off an FMU?
would a dynotune off of NepTUNE solve this?
thats what were thinking anyway.
input is greatly appreciated.

nah i didn't come with a wideband.
You can deffinitly tell it's running rich though.
It smokes a bit when you get on it, and reeks of gasoline.
Also I asked him when it bogs down the most and he says usually between 1500-2000rpm
in second gear but it also does it every once in awhile in other gears.
