Default ECU QUESTION

I had a chip installed in my ecu. long story short the car wont run worth a **** with the chip in. The guy who put it in installed a socket so the chip can be installed/removed at will. If i remove the chip will the ecu revert back to stock or no? If no anyone on here wanna trade me a p72 for a socket p72 straight up?

If the ECU was chipped/socketed properly. You should be able to open up the case and cut or remove the jumper at J1. That will revert the ECU back to stock.

On any ECU that I chip it is as easy as pulling the red jumper, pictured above, and your back to stock.
