okay, everyone wants to sign up i can see why. yes crome is 150.00 and is using other people code that they helped out to make the application that much better. or plugins i should say. i would beta test but i'm not going to beg. i'd like to see some kind of plugin what not thath would be able to render a ecu useless if you didn't switch the key on and off at a certain pattern. thath would be off the wall.

If found out that eCtune PRO or DIY are used on multiple cars it can cause a license ban(disabled).

Nope that is why PRO is a single car version.
Single CAR... not tune everybody

Re: (calvinPGMFI)
How much is the tuner license? Will one tuner license cover multiple laptops? Our shop is currently using 5 or more laptops ; 5+ tuner licenses would be cost prohibitive in our case. We have not had any requests yet for eCtune, but if eCtune catches on, we will. All hyperbole aside, what sets eCtune apart from other Rom Editors? What kind of incentives are offered to entice customers to choose eCtune over any of the many other options available? Thanks

What exactly does it take to get the dealer version? Im staying astray from this program unless i can get the dealer version. The single car ordeal is just not practical for me. The program looks awesome though! It would be nice to have

Just installed mine, still waiting on the hardware. This program is idiot proof, I didnt have to go reading through a million programs to figure out how to setup a basemap.
Additionally, I am running denso 720's, a P28, 3bar, and a Y8 motor.... This setup was a pain to plug into crome, ECtune had all the options for me to simply click on.
Thumbs up to you guys so far.

I am new to tuning. varExperience=0 Only thing I've ever tuned was a model glow engine and not that well I might add. Originally bought Crome Pro, struggled with that and out of frustration ended paying for a dyno tune that didn't work out so well. Stock b16 blew up on 10 psi of boost. AWESOME!!! $2,000 rebuild later...
Bought eCtune and decided to tune myself, might as well I built the motor myself. So I start the car and it pretty much runs perfect on a base map. Not perfect but still it idled and went through the gears smoothly without pops or hiccups. After messing around with offsets and what not I went to the track and ran a 12.71 @ 110mph with timing untouched (1 deg/lb retard) and A/F in the 11:5 range on 9 PSI!!! Still working on A/F and then off to the dyno. I think there's a lot left in this setup especially in the timing and of course with 6 or 7 more lbs of boost. (B16 81.5mm, wiseco 9:1, crower rods, garrett 60/63, prec 650 hi imp inj., walbro 255, gm 3bar, gsr cams, supertech springs/retainers, etc. all in a 85 CRX HF)
I am a Network Administrator/IT Manager and have seen a lot of crappy software in my days and I can say eCtune is very stable, very easy to use, and extremely feature rich with great scalability for features not even dreamed up yet. I was hesitant at first because we have not had much success with most .NET apps (better than Java apps though), but Calvin has done a phenomenal job on eCtune. I used to program in VB and know how many hours it takes to make a UI let alone code logic and test.
So thank you Calvin and everyone else who helped develop eCtune and keep up the great work! As soon as others at the track see this, you're gonna have some more customers fo sho!
