Default Ectune info

I have a 37820-p0h-l01 ecm in my 96 accord ex 5-speed. Is this a good computer and if so does ectune work well with it?

It won't work with eCtune.

You need an OBD1 Civic/Integra ecu. All except the P07.

Yep.. or from one of the other dealers on the site.

What tuning system are you looking into using? And are you planning on tuning the car yourself?

without some serious intervention... it would be good for comedic value.

OP: go here and start reading... http://www.ectune.com/eCtune/Require...6/Default.aspx
then go here and read some more... http://www.ectune.com/eCtune/Help/tabid/65/Default.aspx
then go here and read even more .... http://forum.pgmfi.org/

tuning is not something you can just jump into on a whim, it's complicated and will do next to nothing unless you have some engine mod other than bolt-ons.
Also running a "chipped ECU" from ebay, or from someone that has never physically touched your car, will do nothing but screw something up. (mpg, power, etc)

with the questions you're asking right now, step away from tuning and have someone who knows what they are doing tune it... or better yet, watch them and learn as they do so.

Have you tuned one of your own cars before, on eCtune or anything else?

If you take it slow and read through some of the other info people have posted on here you will be fine.

If you want a turn-key package we offer the ECU, eCtune PRO, the Ostrich and a Datalogging Cable (along with wideband) all for about $800.00, this would include everything you need except the conversion harness ($74), a laptop and time tuning the car.

PM or email me if you have any specific questions you cant find answers to online.
