Chipped ECU usage
Hey, I bought a p72, being told it was a virgin, then when i cracked it open i was indeed lied to. I was wondering if thier was anyway i could use this ecu with out using the chip that's been placed in it. I wanna use the Stock fuel maps and such.
My friend said something about removing a jumper but i don't see what he's talking about. and say i do find it and remove it would i be able to still use hondata s300 or neptune in the future? or would i need a new ecu?

Glad I found this. So after removing J1 I could still leave the ROM in the socket and it preform like a OEM unit? Also the person that had chipped mine used a resistor in J1 instead of a jumper wire. Any downside or benefit to this?
