I am looking into buying a chipped p06 with a "spoon chip" it apperently used to be in my h22 ek when a previous owner had it. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the chip and wether or not I can buy it and if so could I get it retuned? He only wants $100

 

Its way better to have a shop chip it and put a dyno tune on it that way the tune is running exactly what afr makes the most efficient power on your specific setup ...

For instance if you have something as small as a exhaust manifold different than the spoon chip is setup for then the tune wouldn't be ideal.

Spoon never made a p06/28/30 chip for the h22a. They did program the p13 though.
I would get it dyno tuned or at least a wideband with street tuning.

 

Maybe its an EBAY spoon chip. There is a difference.

 

Every ebay chip is a spoon chip at some point. when its not its a mugen, or k's racing, jsut depends on what the seller wants to call it.

Right about the j's racing, but i was also thinking of k's rom which was a p13 chip. just got em both mixed up.
