Default checking ecu job

i need to know how to check the solder on a chipped ecu.

the ecu doesn't work on two known cars.

i don't smell a burnt board.

i didn't see any blown resistors.

Cut j1 & see if the ecu works. If it does, there is a problem with your soldering.

why are you even asking this? look at the board if everything looks fine but it doesnt work cut J1 like mtber said to return the ecu to stock

i took out the chip and gave it to my tuner to take some fuel out of it.

it ran fine before now the car is limp mode

i have hondata S200 and the red light is on constant and the car is in limp mode

Check to make sure you put the chip back in the proper orientation. There should be a half circle marking on one end of chip. That end should be towards the connector side of the ECU. If the orientation is correct have your tuner burn another base map onto the chip. It may not have copied properly to the chip. If it happens again get ask your tuner to fix the problem that you seem to be blaming him for.

the burn is good and we know that because we put it in a differant ecu.

the last idea is the ecu prongs could have been bent.
