Hello, I recently got a 1999 Honda civic ex 5spd as a daily to replace my bagged is300. It is boring as hell to drive and I want to boost it. I dont know if i should just boost the engine thats in my car as of now (d16y8 im pretty sure) or swap a b16a2 into it and get a ls trans. thats one question

Other question is how much will it cost on average to boost my civic with either the d16 or b16 motor full swap including the trans, lsv kit if needed, axles, motor mounts and a turbo. I am just trying to get around 300whp or maybe even more, enough so i can still daily drive and for it not to blow or break down on me, Yes i would like to do internals and injectors and built block and such as and i will be putting a tune on it. Dont really have anyone to question about boosting a honda because no one has one around me or they do but not done properly.
