i have a fully built and sleeved ls/vtec setup. with a Precision 6262sp, ID 1000cc inj, etc etc...i have everything done. Running Hondata S200b
now on to my Question.

i am looking for the BEST tuner in the Bay area (California). what i mean by "BEST" i want the best person who can get me a horsepower + reliability type of tune... Afr's some where in the mid 11's under boost and a nice gas sipper while cruising. i want the tune to be on 17lbs.

any recommendations are greatly appreciated! if you've been tuned by a tuner in the bay area, please post your dyno figures and your setup. and if you have a video please post link.

i think DSR is in San Jose, theres also DNRperformance in Hayward, Tech3, Blacktrax, all these guys are good.

 

have you gotten tuned by any of these guys? and which one do you recommended? i will be driving from gilroy. i have been to DNR before. tuned my old setup there. wasn't too fond of the numbers they put down on my car

it was a garrett 57trim turbo, 550cc inj, on 6psi made 220whp... =(

 

my buddy got tuned by DSR and made 235whp on a very basic 2.0L allmotor setup, i have not been to any of the ones i listed, because i dont live near them, i get my stuff tune at PED, which is about 2 hrs from me, if u wanna tune a turbo set-up, i suggest u get tune at TECH3 ask to see if Ryan still works or tune there, that baster is a very good tuner.

hey man, i was in your shoes a while ago when i was getting my fit tuned. i tried out about three different tuners. im not going to name names but they either didnt know what the hell they were doing or they charged wayyyyy too much for the tune.

ever since i went through all of that bs, i decided to trailer my car down to so cal because my buddy swore by shaun church. i am glad i did. he figured out why my car kept reverting to closed loop and he made some good HP out of my car. some people say his dyno reads high, but i dont care because i dont take it to anyplace else. some people are just smarter than others.

 

i've heard about church. but man thats a Drive!! lol...

what was your setup? 57trim isnt exactly a big turbo and 6psi is like **** water for boost on it.
