i was wondering if a p28 would run a stock b20 with i/h/e. iv been having an idle problem recently where when started cold she idles around 2700 and even after warm she sits at 2k until i tap the pedal and than were normal (1.2k). iv done the iac valve, changed throttle bodies with different tpd, throttle cable (old one was frayed), and changed fuel filter cause i also get some lag i guess i can call it while warming up. only thing i have left is the map sensor and ecu. any ideas.

 

well p28 is for a sohc vtec 1.6L. Is it chipped running the proper timing and fuel needed for the 2.0 dohc?

 

If its a stock P28 its not going to work. You need a chipped ecu with the right map for your motor

 

well thing is i changed the throttle body back and seems to be wrking fine with a stock p28. fine as is still rich. the chips been ordered just waiting for it to come in.
