IDLE problem with a chipped p28
Hey was up i have a 99 GSR i converted from OBDII to OBDI and im running a chipped P28 with the Skunk2 program and my car idles around 700 and lower how can i fix that???
If it's just idling low (and not jumping around), then just adjust your throttle cable with a 10mm wrench on the throttle cable bracket, on the manifold. That'll give you more play and then fine-tune it with the idle screw on the TB.
If your idle is jumping around from like 400-1000 rpms, then you either have a vacuum leak or a bad chip in your ECU (or bad soldering job of the chip and it's components).
