Default B18B ECU Help

I just did a b18b swap into my ek. i havnt driven it for a long period of time yet. But some people say that you need to drive it for a certian amount of time like a half our so the computer can reset and you will have the fuel curve you need and stuff. Is this true and for how long do you think?

Just start it up and drive it. nothing else to it.

more importantly, make sure all your fluids are good, bolts tight and everything is checked up!

agreed. there is nothing else to it. The honda obd0 and obd1 ecu does not "learn" anything. all the data and programming that it ever needs is stored in rom memory and doesn't change it unless a tuner replaces the old rom with a new rom, at most basic level.

if the swap is 100% right, you should be able to start it up and run the car just fine.
