B18b swap---> PR4 vs P75 ECU
I'm trying to finish up this swap (my first) and am having trouble mounting the ecu. My swap came with a OBD1 PR4 ecu, which doesn't quite fit the mounts on my 1995 CX. This got me thinking: Is this the right ECU for the swap? Apparently the P75 ECU is the one that came with the B18b. Is the PR4 the same? Will it run the engine? Will it run it well? I did a search and nobody really answered this question. Please help!

Same computer, PR4's are the older number before they switched to P75, just like there are B18B's with PR4 heads and there are some with P75 heads. It won't make any difference between the ECU's.

Re: B18b swap---> PR4 vs P75 ECU (JohnnyWash1)
hey, i have a 90 CRX with a b18a1 swap, the PR4 ecu i had was obd0 and i swapped to a P75 OBD1, so i know the 0-1 swap probably helped a bit, but i had a noticeable power, throttle response and rpm increase going from the PR4 to P75. hopefully this helps, later
