is there any use for automatic ecus. can they be chipped and socketed and used in a manual car?

You can remove a resistor to make them manual. They can be chipped and used just like the rest.

Explain. I have a 92 Civic that is Auto but due to mod the AUTO (PM6) ecu does not like it. I need to tune. what can I use and does the damn thin have an TCU like I keep hearing or is that no on the Civics.

PM6 is OBD0 (Pre-OBD), which won't plug into a 92 civic at all.

OK let me ask this again. I DO NOT have a manual nor do I intend on getting it. And the ECU is a P06 sorry. I am changing it to a P28 for an AUTO, and need to make sure I can socket it and tune it with Neptune Crome, etc...

obd2 are not the same as a obd1 and cannot be done as easily
