Default auto ecu in manual??

whats the worse that can happen??? ive just found out my chipped ecu was automatic and its in manual car p28-a52. ???

does it still matter if you put s300 on it.

i read a lot about people saying it will throw check engine light #19 on, but will anything else happen to it, like maybe not run right, ??

No, nothing will happen other than the CEL, but you could cut out the simple resistor to change it to manual. Google will tell you how.

If that's the case, cut the jumper for auto/manual out and you're good to go. Google will tell you all about it.

It does work without a problem, once you take the jumper out or skip all of the auto stuff in the code.

so i would assume skipping the auto stuff is something done with neptune or eCtune? say for an ecu chipped on crome, would removing the jumper be necessary as i dont think it has the option for auto or manual?

NepTune supports automatics. You need to remove the jumper (RP17) to make it manual.
