Default 2000 prelude ecu question

I have a 2000 prelude with 190k on it. All in all shes in good shape, but the auto trans blues are very prevalent. Shes slipping bad, so i made a decision....and ordered a jdm f20b with manual trans, and lsd. The motor and trans has approximately 55k on it, and comes with ecu, and harness.
Will this included ecu work with a obd2a to obd1 conversion harness? The motor is coming in tomorrow, and i want to start working right away, just gotta have all bases covered.

Just incase your wondering, i have a few mods going on with the new engine, when it gets here.

Skunk2 pro 1 camshaft
Manley pro springs w titanium retainers, and valve locks
Skunk 2 pro spring bases
Skunk2 cam seals
Vms cam gears
Oem oil pump w ballance shaft delete
Gates racing timing belt
Clutch max 11.72 lb, 119 ring gear chromemoly flywheel
Clutch max stage 2 clutch ( all bearings will be oem )
Srs 4-2-1 header
Srs 2.5 catback exaust

Hopefully she performs well.

In short, Yes.
BUT, the engine harness is an issue. You will want to use the engine harness that comes with the f20b, but it won't plug in properly to the 5g prelude chassis harness. There are several ways to solve this. My personal preference is to de-pin the entire set of main plugs between chassis and engine harness (doesn't matter which side) and reinstall everything in a corresponding plug so that they do plug in together and are pinned correctly.

Why would he use the F20B engine harness over his original H22 prelude harness? The only issue I see is, minor distributor wiring and he will have some transmission side connectors hanging due to the engine harness originally being an auto.
