1995 Civic EG Hatch with B18CR checking for codes, need help.
Okay so I have a 96 spec ITR B18CR in my Hatch and it has been dyno tuned on Hondata S100.
From what I know, the distributor leaks a tiny bit of oil, but was told by a good friend that works for a Honda dealer that if it only leaks a little, it shouldn't be a problem.
Secondly, my car was bogging at 2-3k RPM range and maybe a bit higher at 4-5k (through all gears), which I think is due to bad spark plug wires, can anyone confirm if loose spark plug wires from the distributer cap can do this? My old spark plug wires that connects to the distributor were really loose, you can rock it back and forth pretty easily. I replaced them and so far it hasn't bogged, I just want to know if this is the solution so I don't have to worry about it.
NOW, after I got my car tuned, the CEL went away. A few days later, my CEL was coming on and off when I start the car (it comes on whenever it wants to).
I jumpered the plug to check for codes and the CEL light turns OFF, but my SRS airbag light flashes continuously. Can anyone tell me why it does this? My CEL turns on (again, it turns on when it wants to), and I check for codes. I put my car to ON-(I) and jumper it, then turn it to ON-(II) and my CEL IMMEDIATELY flashes ONCE really quick, then turns off and NEVER turns on again, then my SRS airbag light starts flashing at a steady, fast-paced pulse. I do believe my airbags are messed up, but is this the reason why my CEL comes on? Or is there a code behind it? Must I clear the SRS problem before I can diagnose for the CEL code?
Someone help please, thanks!

The CEL is completely different than the SRS and they have nothing to do with eachother. A long pause (with a flash) represents a 10 code and a short flash represents a 1. A code 1 would be a problem in the Oxygen sensor (O2s circuit).
Perform a ECU reset procedure
Warm up the engine to a normal opperating temp when the fan comes on
Run it for 60 seconds after that
Connect your jumper wire to the service connector
Road test the car starting at 1600 RPM in 4th gear at WOT for 5 seconds then let it close
If the MIL indicates code 1 replace sensor
If not:
Check connections at 02 sensor and shock towers along with the ECU plugs

Is the 02 sensor enabled in your "tune" or is it disabled. I believe in s300 you are able to disable the o2 and not have a CEL, but i am only familiar with Crome. I imagine your tuner left it functional since it sounds like a stock ITR.

I know they have nothing to do with each other, but my question was: why does my SRS flash when I connect the jumper? Shouldn't it be flashing a code instead? The CEL just flashes once really quick and dies...if it were to be code 1 it would flash once quick, then pause and flash again, repeatedly, but it doesn't...or am I wrong? Because it flashes once and never to be seen flashing again. Also, I have reset my ECU many times, but I will try your method. Thanks.

The code should repeat. The SRS has seperate codes and you most likely have an issue with the system. Bogging symptoms can be caused by a dis-functional 02 sensor.

Jumping the service connector allows you to read CEL codes, SRS codes, and ABS codes. The SRS light is blinking SRS codes when you jump the service connector.

You're telling me something I already know, my question was: WHY does the CEL go away and instead the SRS blinks? I'm not asking if there is a difference between SRS light and CEL light.

If oil is leaking around ur distributer, maybe the oil is inside the cap, check your ignition coil with a volt meter.. Also pull your spark plugs and see how they look
