Default L15A1 (07-08 Fit) VS. L15B7 (17-18 Civic Si)

Without buying parts Id like to see if I can swap parts between the first USDM L series engine from the 07 Fit and the new Civic Si, bore and stroke are the same but I would like to know if anyone actually knows first hand or knows a way to look it up. Mostly interested in pistons and rods.

Better off just swapping a whole L15B7 into the bay, and call it a wrap

Sure, give the entire swap (Si not EX) to me under $1500 and include a detailed wiring diagram and ECU and don't forget the custom axles that Ill need too.

You won't get the rods and pistons from anyone except a wrecked one anyway. And the value of that engine will be far higher than $1500 even parted out. So, 6 of one, half a dozen of the other...

If you're serious, honestly, you're going to have to invest into finding these parts and giving it a shot. Unfortunately, people on this forum no longer create write-ups and how-tos as they used to due to laziness, and complicity.
Swaps require a cross-reference of all parts, including axles, so it's nothing new to any swap. I consider that par for the course. But at least it has a better likelihood of success over other makes/models attempting a similar endeavor.
