Best Place to get a B18 FULLY Sleeved and Built/Assembled?
Current considerations are Modern Application Performance (MAP), Laskey, or King Motorsports. I've heard mostly good things about all three of these companies, but most of the information is a bit dated so I was looking for some more recent info.
Goal is to have ~500WHP daily driven turbo, reliable. Getting sleeves, and a fully forged bottom end with ACL bearings and ARP hardware everywhere. MAP uses Golden Eagle sleeves, Laskey uses Benson, and I'm not sure about King
I also need to have the cylinder head ported/polished, and a 3 angle valve job, so bonus points if there's a shop that could do a full longblock and not just the short. Ideally I'd like to get the entire long block sent to me, ready to have the transmission and accessories all mated in and just dropped into the car. I don't want to work on the engine internally myself.
Money is not really a major issue. I want this to be built to last. Do it once and do it right, I want one of the best engine builders/sleeves in the game.
Edit: I didn't realize that Darton also does short block assembly in Virginia. This may be the option I'm going with now, I know Darton doesn't skimp on quality but their price tag is high (once again though, I don't care as long as it holds together).
Still curious for opinions, especially on MAP and Laskey though. Also need a place to get the cylinder head done as well (once again, if I could get the short block + head done at the same place, as a long block, that would be ideal).

Interesting video MAP put out this month. Looks like good stuff:
Hmmm. Lots to consider here. Golden Eagle in California, like Darton, also does full assembly as well as sleeving.
May be best just to first find the best tuner, and then see what they recommend. Or call Darton/Map/GE.

Currently in Texas, but will probably be working in Kansas by the time I start the build. The only tuner I've heard about in the Kansas area is MKC, and I've heard some pretty bad horror stories from some of their customers so I definitely won't be putting any stock there.
D3 in Texas is easily one of the best tuners in the South/Southwest, and I know they recommend Darton so I'll probably end up going with them. I'm still kinda considering MAP though, as they also look professional.
I should probably figure out who will tune the car first though like you suggested, and see what their input is between the two. At this point I think either would get the job done right.

ERL, Bensons, Darton, Laskey, Endyn, PRE all should be able to build you a badass engine. My opinion of course. I know I'm forgetting a bunch...

Also check out "Mach1n1st" here on the forums. He posts occasionally in this section. He does alot of sleeving like probably hundreds. I believe he likes LA sleeves. He can tell you why.

+1 for Laskey. Had my longblock fully built and assembled by Mike back in 2010ish? I believe. Daily driven and still running like day 1.
