drifting is left to RWD and AWD(with the right diff setups) vehicles only.
If anyone says they drift their FWD car is lying.
Just like someone saying "I have intake/header/exhaust on my Civic DX, and rape GS-R's all day."

I've actually perfected the FF drift...

The only thing is, I have to be in reverse to do it, and at that point, it's really ******* hard to steer.

Drifitng: Fun to watch in a control environment. Bad idea to do in the streets (even during the wee hours). Imagine what would happen if you happen to run over some dust during at a relatively quick speed. I've seen cars run up the sidewalks because of this. Broken axles and teared up rims.

Why do all the idiots flock to this forum? I spend a half hour catching up on my posts in the type r and competition forum, than I come over here, and all I see are stupid questions, people making fun of people for asking stupid questions, people making fun of peoples cars, etc, etc, etc. . .I might not have alot of posts, simply because I just hang around looking for questions to answer or occasionally asking questions. . .I think we should have an opinion forum. Everybody will just post topics to see how "phat" and "sweet" their "tite" new "jdm" parts are. Than everyone can give their opinions. This way, when somebody actually comes to this wonderful site in search of usefulness, they can find it instead of having to search through the civic forum for something worth reading. I must admit though, FF drifting. . . . haha. . . .its funny to read about what my "favorite kind of drifting" is in my honda. It is definitely going to be far from funny when people still seem to think that it's ok to drive around the streets pulling their e-brakes around turns. That is far from cool.

You people are gay.

You CANNOT drift a FF car. Drifting involves keeping the gas planted and the REAR tires spinning. You cant do this in an FF car, It will pull you out of the drift if you stay in the throttle.

sliding is NOT drifting.

How many option videos show civics drifting? NONE, shut up.
i beg to differ, the accel off technique in drifting is only ONE way to drift if you maybe did some research on the acual art of drifting you would come to realize that there isnt just one tecneque, and even some of the drift techs' that work on rear wheel drives will also work on awd and ff's... so get educated.

How do you think rally cars drift? Hello...e-brake!

actually, a good rally driver doesn't need to touch the e. properly timed brake and throttle taps can shift the weight to slid through turns. Asphault stages might be an exception to this, of course.

WOW. Thats all I got to say, some of you guys got sooo nuts over this and thats way cool to actually see people get that bothered by it. I'm suprised VTECvoodoo only rated it 6 on top ten gay threads, he nags and complains so much about everything I was for sure hopin he'd call for a ban. I'm not even gonna argue with any of you who are getting all tech and saying FF cars can't drift, cause again in my post I flat out stated I'm not claiming drift kid (cause I really don't know **** about it and I'll admit it) sorry some of you guys were so bothered, I was just tryin to get some feedback on fun **** other people do with their cars late at night. search JUN Civic Video on Kazaa and enjoy.

drifting in a FF wheel drive car is pointles but it can be done they had a write up in super street on how to do it. you use the same style as with a RWD car but you use the e brake to get her to start rotating not to hard my friend does it in his hatch once and a wile on our secret mountain run on the weekends only prob is that if you get it wrong in a FW drive car it tends to be harder to correct ( have seen him crash 2 times doing this but who cares it is the battle camo hatch no show queen
