i wan't responding to u dude. sale your civic .. buy an early 90s 240 or mid 80s corolla .. good starter cars for "drifitng" .... i like drifting, its just that F&F will ruin it and kids will go buy 240s and think they have a drift machine ..kinda sad actually

Dude. This is what you need to do.
Go find an offramp on a freeway that leads to another freeway. The kind that have those reallllyyy long wide curves. Take that **** at 170mph in your civic. Then when you are just about to enter the turn, RIP the wheel entirely until its lock to lock, then slam the ebrake up. You'll be drifting so hard you won't even know what happened when you wake up in the hospital. Yes, its that intense, it puts you in the hospital from so much adrenaline.

i want to slap you for trying to drift a civic.....
i came from the world of euros, pick up a rwd or awd car...this reminds me when some one wanted to drift a jetta on my other forum
as far as fwd is concerned youre stuck to grip driving
go learn to rev match and heel toe too and burn thorugh a couple clutches in the process
dont forget a limited slip differential on that rwd car of yours open diffs wont break traction on BOTH rear wheels
i suggest an old e30 bmw 1980's 325 or 318 with an m3 engine swap that chasis is easy to maintain and was known for its near 50/50 weight distribution and lightness
the 325 is a 6cyl 2.5L 169hp
318 is 4cyl 1.9L 120 hp
m3 for the e30 is 4cyl 2.0L 200hp
i hope i helped some...or just keep the civic and enjoy the gas mileage and handling like i do

u guys r high.. i was going home, and i saw some kids in their honda's.... there going 120MPH around corners pulling the e-brake and such.... all i could think was "that's is MaD VteC y0!!!!" hahahahh
Some1 please define the word drifting!! correct me if im wrong but isnt it when the backend comes out under control?? if so drifting is possible in fwd cars but wouldnt last as long as rwd + it is difficult.. really u need either hard tyres (or crap tyres) wet road or like we'v all done b4 Mc Donalds trays.lol. if this is not drifting i dont know wot is

drifting is possible in a fwd car. my friend did it!!! in my car...coming out of a corner in auto x he grinds the gears, a second later, he's sliding sideways killing my tires and has no earthly idea how he got there. then he spins out and i'm left with a smoking tranny and no tires. drifting is only possible in a fwd car if its in your friends car and your trying to kill it.

YOU CAN'T, genius
You can slide and recover it with a steer, but it's still not drifting, i dont' give a expletive how good ur at pulling the e-brake
Yeah the guy with that white coupe definately had some skills, but he was still just sliding and correcting, there was no DRIFT involved...

STEP 1 - Go learn what drifting is. (try wikipedia.com)
STEP 2 - Learn how an engine works.
STEP 3 - Learn how suspension works.
STEP 4 - Wait and try to learn cars for another 5+ years.
STEP 5 - Attempt to build your drift car.
