Default what shifter to get???

have a 99 civic ex with a GSR swap ( motor and tranny) it currently has a short shifter but i don't like it. makes it seem harder to get into gear and harder to shift when racing. what shifters do you guys recommend i change out to?? or go back to stock?

I use stock, i know of 3 other local racers who all used stock when they were racing events all the time. I've broken 3 shifters and none were OEM. I've been using stock for 2 years now and no problems

i had a cheap gsr short shifter in my car which sucked. switched to oem gsr and i like it 100 times better, i just wish the shifts felt a little more positive.

A factory Teg bar is all you need... Even mill them down at times to fit a Civic lower shifter bar (since all their ****, including the '99-00 Si suck).

i use the stock shifter on my efcivic hatchback and it works great, any other shifters (short throw shifters) i hear wear the tranny out quicker.

I use the old, old Pacesetter--with the adjustable nylon ball-I set it to be slightly shorter than stock length and it works great...

the b&m's are really nice, they are billet... so they are strong...
but if you dont like the feel of the short shifters, you should go stock...
