what am i doing wrong
hey guys...okay here is the deal, i went to the track for the second time in a month with my civic and i was driving it first then my girlfriend tried it out a few times. here is my problem on a boosted b18 in a 98 civic hatch @ 10psi the best time i ran is a 14.2@98MPH!!! i dont get it...my car should be faster i dyno'd at 251WHP and 212FT/LBS TQ with an SSAC manifold and it cracked so i have a custom tig welded log style now but i didnt get it tuned...i did about 40 runs in both times combined and i cant even get in the 13s!...this is a low 13 build at least and i cant seem to get it!
my buddy on 10psi b18b with a GT28R hit a 13.4@108MPH and he has 220WHP...

Tial wastegate with a 10PSI spring
would you agree that i should be running better times than that...man i tried everything! even tire prep and still NOTHING!
help me out on how i could get better times guys please! what's wrong with my setup

It's not putting down 250whp anymore. 98mph shows your putting down far less power and the ET matches the trap so you have other issues. Take it back to the dyno and find out what it does now.

this man is deffinately right your mph does match your ET so i hate to sy it but theres something that changed with your build. i know for a fact that those ssac manifolds will make alot of midrange power and seeing as how an ls mas midrange power to start with it proboably complimented it alot better than that log that you had made. I still cant figure out why people still use those damn things. i mean seriously i have a brand new ram horn for sale for like 450 and back when i started that was the cost of a good log.
