what 2 do
If the car is complete and race ready, why would you pass on a chance to race at NHRA world finals? You don't have to travel far its in your state, and i bet it would cost about the same as your camping trip.Whats the deal dude, I think there are alot of Honda fans that would probably like to see your car.

One things for sure Leevon, it will be real nice to see you back out racing on the track. A lot of the guys from back in the day are trying to make it back to the track. For God's sake Aaron Schley was racing his car this past IDRC in Fontana. It is really funny how things come full circle with time. I think we are going to a see a resurgence of Sport Compact Drag like we did in the mid 90's. I can't wait to see your car in person. Pat sure did some sick work to it.
Believe it or not, there is a fair amount of Import Profwd cars here in Cali. I know there is a fair amount of them actually complete and running. Only a couple more is yet to run and needs to finish up some minor fab work.
Let's see (PROFWD present on the west coast):
1.Leevon Eisele: RSX
2.Tom Jung: RSX
3.Jerrod Silvers old car: Civic
4.Jerrold Rhodes: Accord
5.Chris Rado: Scion TC
6.Bergenholtz: 2006 Mazda 6
7.Bergenholtz: 2008 Mazda 6
8.Carlson old car: RSX (This is obviously top secret and has been in construction since november 2006.

Hey Ron, whatever happened to your Integra? I thought you were going to put the CRX driveline in it and come out??

I'm sorry but how do you figure that. I have alot of money into my hotrod car but if I knew then what I know now I would prolly spend $75,ooo to replicate a comptetive hotrod car. I think S&w want 8ok for a roller profwd
The key element that is night and day as far as price is the tranny.
PROFWD Tranny (Fortin): $16,000
Hot Rod Tranny (XTRAC): $30,000
Profwd chassiswork is much easier and cheaper because the body comes off.
Hot Rod: Much harder because you gotta build the car in a unibody. This is such a pain in the *** for much fabricators. It's like building a car in a bottle.
This of course is my experience from budgeting the costs to build these cars. I could be wrong.
