went to the track friday....
finally got to the track...
first run ran 13.2 @ 113 (2.2 60') spun in 1st and 2nd
second run 12.4 @ 114 (2.0 60')
third run 12.7 @ 119 (2.5 60') bogged off the line
4th run well i didnt cuz i broke an axle again
this is the 2nd stage 2 dss axle ive broken.. it was a clean break right inside the hub. (ill post pix soon)

yup 225/50/15 bfg's.... i acutally bent the spokes on my rotas so i have to put them on my kossi's i had my slicks on before

wiescos, eagle rods, t3/t4e 60 tirm, log mani, 2.5" dp to 3" exhaust, open wastegate dump, hondata, GE intake mani, spearco intercooler, 8.5 lb flywheel, act clutch, valve springs & retainers .. I think thats about it for the go fast parts

good job bill! glad to see you running good. your not having any wheel hop issues are you? are you breaking the axles leaving the line? 12.4 with a 2.0 60.....you def. have 11's in that car...and its far from light!! gonna try to go for the 11 second mark on the power your making now....or try some bigger injectors and make a little more power? i think you can rock a high 11 with some slicks and some seat time.....

well right now i can't afford injectors or to get retuned so ill run this setup for a while and i actually broke the axle doing the burnout. it looks like the axle just separated didnt even really twist... when i get time to put the pix up you'll see.
Wow that doesnt look like a break! It looks like you did a nice clean machined cut. I dont know too much about metalurgy, but i would suggest you step up to the next level of axles. Your probably making too much power or for them.

its the curse of the h22!! my h22 hatch sits around and collects dust......but my B series coupe just went 10.0 on stock oem honda axles. damn bill thats crazy sounds like an expensive trip to the track!! are you having any wheel hop issues?

no wheel hop issuse.... I called DSS to see why i keep breaking axles and they said its the drag radials... less sidewall wrinkle so more stress on the axles... I'm going to have my stage 2's converted to stage 3's and hope i dont break anymore...
as for the wheels I have some Kossi K1's ill throw DR's on. anyone want to buy 2 bent 15" rota sub-zero's?
