My car currently has a welded differential and for driving on the street it really sucks. Is there anything at all I could replace it with that isnt as expensive as the quiafe and kaaz. Ive heard of people using type r lsd. It has to be able to support 500hp. Thanks

 

You could try shimming the stock one. It's kinda like the welded diff, but it gives a bit.
