wastegate/c02 ?
Been searching for companies making c02 systems used to control wastegates and can't find anything. Can someone steer me in the right direction on what to buy.
Dedenbear has the co2 kits

Needed because I'm going to be running ams-1000. And c02 is alot more responsive and can get the boost were I want it. Right know I'm using a turbo xs quad stage and a .7 spring in the gate and cant get over 23 lbs. Also my motor is 2.1 with a GT35r.82 so I dont think turbo sizing is the problem.

I'm wondering as well!
And how hard would it be to swap between CO2 and manifold pressure on the NLR?

the bottles will last you all weekend as long as you turn the bottle off between rounds/over night.
its easy to swap between manifold pressure and co2 as long as you set it up where you can cap off the manifold pressure source easily when you are using c02. you wont have to cap off the c02 line, just turn off the bottle.

yeah the 10 oz bottles will last a long time -- we just used the co2 in 3rd and 4th gear and i bet if we added up the potential of runs on a bottle it would be 25+ -- we forgot to close the bottle sometimes and it would slowly leaked out -- solved that potential issue with a spare full 10 oz bottle in the trailer at all times just in case

So true.., one of the most important things a racer should bring to the track, along with Zip Ties.

I know for a fact that you have to honda-bond the diaphram to the lip on the valve hat (i dont know what exactly to call it) with the 44mm gates. When we ran 3psi wastegate springs in dual gates two seasons ago with the ams-1000, with 50-60psi of c02 pressure the diaphram would pull apart from the valve hat. It would do it within a few pulls on the dyno, and typically 1-2 passes at the track. The key to modifying the gate is to spread the honda-bond on both sides of where it tucks into the lip, and put alot of it. I let it cure for over a week, and never had a single issue after that. Our 60mm Tial gate that we ran last year was not modified, and didnt have any issues at 30-40psi of co2 level.
