Tuning question
I went from an M4 to the AEM because of the added features at no charge. We had no loss in performance. I am in no way saying the AEM is better than Motec, just from my experience it worked well.
Use Tony1 cam trigger so you dont have to depend on the honda dizzy pickup to fail on you. Just the ems and pickup took Joe Simpson from 10's into the Cuin9's

the cam trigger eliminates the need for the sketchy reluctor pickup inside the honda distributor(factory). it uses an exhaust cam gear drilled with magnets and a hall effect sensor mounted to the head that reads them. it is super accurate and elimintates high rpm breakups assocated with stock distributor pickups. another alternative is the msd distributor which uses better sensors(from my experience).

Why would you choose an S300, or even Neptune, over an AEM unit?

Tony's cam trigger kit wasn't around when I had my AEM. I had major issues with the signal wandering at high and low RPMs, enough so that the car would sometimes die at anything below 1000RPM when it lost the signal, and it jumped around about 2000RPM in the higher areas.
I also had issues with my maps, a corrupt file is probably the best way to describe it. Switched to a S300 and no issues. Granted its a pure street car and I'm not planning on doing any sort of competitive racing, the S300 is more than enough for my application. I also think the S-manager software is more user friendly and intuitive than the AEM, and I like that I can use USB connection as my current laptop does not have a serial port on it. Once the Neptune RTP is finalized I may switch to that. The AEM is a hell of a deal for the price though, but I think its overkill for street cars.
Macbook Pro + Neptune RTP in the near future FTW.

Anyways...Funny thing peeps bring my name up in every thread now. LMAO. Just trying to get me pissed. But it isnt working.
