Trying to remove ball-joint please help

mine pops off with about a 1/4 turn using the tool i linked above, i thred the castle nut on unside down to give it abigger base and to protect the threads

I dont know about bending suspension components, ive changed 5614984987621 axles on my cars thruout the years and i've never bent any part of my suspension with just a hammer.

no but u can miss and smash the ball joint and your screwed because that thing is the biggest PITA to change
