are traction bars relly worth it or should i get some better struts and what kind, cause every time i launch my car it just starts will hoping. thanks.
the traction bars will help the control arms from deflecting. and will help stop wheel hop if set up properly.
goodluck and try the search button....it works wonders.

Traction bars will definately work but be careful of which ones to get some do not have the correct geometry and can cause damage to suspenion parts causing and unsafe situation. Geoff from full-race will be posting picks soon of my traction bars from last season and you can see the lower control arms got bent from the wrong geometry, full-race will soon be releasing their version called Strip Bars with the proper geometry.

pay no mind to those bars..... if they were thinking when they built them, they wouldnt look the way they do...the bars have NO THOUGHT put into them...
on the other hand.... FULL RACE BARS, are properly engineered. and alow for a full suspension travel with no binding. also allow for "lock to lock" steering with out hitting the bars.

no prob.
forgot to mention...that the FULL RACE bars.will NOT have any adverse effects on the suspension bushings.

the z10 bars do what they were designed to do, and that is to stop the lower control arms from flexing under "launch/ load" conditions. according to some sources on the "net" they are not "properly aligned" to keep the suspension from binding when it goes through its range of motion... and it has also been said that by mounting the bar to the lower "shock fork bolt" it will eventually tear up the bushing, but there is another bolt to the inside of the shock that will work perfect for our applications.
what i mean by not "properly aligned" is the mounting location of the bar that runs diagonal between the front crossmember and the lower control arm. the front mounting point is NOT inline with the mounting point of the lower control arm, where it gets bolted to the subframe.... again.. this has been said to "bind" when the suspension goes though its range of motion..and might possibly cause unexpecting reactions from the front of the vehicle..
goodluck with whatever the choice may be.

From my research, the Full-race bars are of better quality than the Jim Fab's. Full-Race uses a higher quality heim joint, that will not rattle or squeak over time. The attachment points are 1/4" chromoly, not 3/16" mild. The Full-Race bars are 100% tig welded, where the jim fabs are mig welded, and the Biggest bonus about the Full-race bars is that they will clear a 3" down pipe or a big all motor header, as the guys over at Full-Race put the thought into it, and moved the front cross member forward.

I told ya Geoff, you can't do what I do half assed. You have to have all of your info. I can't wait for the backorders to clear to try these bad boys out for myself. Then I can offer a full review. Mind if I get the welds X-Ray'd to show the true strength???
