My thought is, with the car off the ground put them on. Then lengthen them just a little more then tight, I give them a little more tug and then never touched them again.

setup as in suspension?
im running pic full coilovers along with skunk2 upper control arms, rear has megan lca's.
as for traction bars i have the ones that avid sells, the way i set it up was the way my mechanic told me to set it to which was hand tight on the bars, not to tight and not to loose.
so far the results have been amazing the car does not dip and never have i had an issue with the car hopping at the line.

I did the opposite of that.
Put them on, put the car on an alignment rack and with all of the weight on the wheels turned the bars by hand (tighter) until I was unable to turn them anymore and then locked them in place.
No wheelhop here, I've even spun 2nd gear on some rough patches of road and didn't have any problems.

So which way does everyone feel is the correct way to pre-load them, pull or push(Creates toe In/Out). Every manufacturers instructions are different.
The only way a suspension should be set up is under load, not off the ground. If you plan to street drive a car with a traction bar, you should also align it.
