Default Tire question....

Alright, Im in the market for some tires. However, i've been having some trouble choosing which ones (mainly because of pricing). Im getting some light weight 17's and i've got a turbo GSR so I wanted to be able to hook up. So I was thinking about getting some BFG's. However, im not sure on which ones. Here is what I found and the price, these I spotted on tirerack.com.

im looking for traction here.....

BFGoodrich g-Force Sport
205-40-17
$74.00 a piece
ZR speed rated
Load Rating SL

Now I was thinking about just buying 2 of those and then keeping the **** wheels he has on the rest of the tires and slapping those 2 on the back. And throwing the BFG's in the front (car will be driven for about another 3-4,000 miles before its garaged for winter, so they'll last). Then, over winter ill grab 2 more. But for now i want to spend the least amount of money.

Is this the tire im looking for? So I can get some traction......

Those are NOT drag radials. They're just regular street tires.

If you want traction get drag radials. They are your only options if you want maximum traction while still being able to drive in street.

17s are not for drag racing
